EP Water Utility work to close Upper Valley Intersection

El Paso Water Utility crews have closed a busy Upper Valley intersection, as sewage line improvements are made in the area.

According to EPWU officials, the intersection of Frontera and Emory Road is closed now, and will remain closed through early next week as they make improvements and completely replaces a sewer line. Officials say when the project is completed, it will enhance service in the area.

Officials added that the improvement project will not require any sewer or water service interruption.

Traffic signs will detour traffic around the construction area that is located directly in this intersection. Construction will be done throughout the day each day to ensure prompt completion.
