Centennial Plaza Usage: The University of Texas at El Paso’s employees and students take great pride in their campus. They are especially proud of the new open spaces created through the recently completed Campus Transformation such as Centennial Plaza, the Geology Lawn and the area in front of Old Main.

These popular spots may be used starting at 2PM for picnic-style activities that involve spreading a blanket and enjoying prepared foods. For everyone’s enjoyment we ask fans not to use grills, chairs of any kind, canopies, tents, tables or partake in organized sports activities in these areas. For your convenience we have designated spaces on campus where these activities can take place.

Please visit our website for a user-friendly map at tailgate.utep.edu. UTEP appreciates the support of its fans and knows the pride they have for their football team is just as strong for the campus. Thank you for your cooperation and GO MINERS!

Tailgating at Kidd Field: Fans can tailgate in style with their friends, family or business associates on Kidd Field, located just east of Sun Bowl Stadium. Kidd Field tailgate tents are available for parties of 50 or more, starting at just $425 for each home football game. Each tent rental includes tables, chairs and the option to reserve your own caterer for each event.

The Miner Athletic Club also has a tailgate at Kidd Field. Single game and season passes are available and each includes a meal, drinks, special giveaways and pregame atmosphere. Prices are $100 (adult season pass), $25 (child season pass), $20 (adult single date) and $5 (child single date). For more information or to purchase tickets, call (915) 747-8759 or e-mail mac@utep.edu.

Play Area at Glory Field: For fun before the game, visit Glory Field and experience the Miners’ new FieldTurf Classic HD CoolPlay surface.  Fans are welcome to play on the new turf.  No tailgating permitted at Glory Field.

Miner Alley: Miner Alley is the perfect spot for fans, students and local sponsors to convene before the game. Located between the UTEP Bookstore and the parking garage off of Sun Bowl Drive, Miner Alley opens four hours prior to kickoff on game day. Tailgating is encouraged.
