18 EPISD classrooms funded by Texas Gas Service via DonorsChoose

Texas Gas Service, the region’s largest provider of natural gas, helped fuel high-quality teaching and learning in 18 classrooms throughout EPISD as part of their efforts to continue to be a formidable partner in education.

The company recently identified requests from 18 EPISD teachers on the DonorsChoose website and helped fund them. Many of the projects funded were STEM- or STEAM-related and allowed teachers to elevate their curriculum during the pandemic.

“Texas Gas Service is proud to partner with EPISD teachers in bringing technology, science, technology, science, art and math enhancements to more than a dozen campuses vis DonorsChoose,” said Elizabeth O’Hara, the company’s regional manager for community relations. “We know that teachers never stop working and we hope our gifts made the work a little easier.”
