Two Millionth Fan Expected to Attend Tonight’s Chihuahuas Game
The Chihuahuas will welcome their 2 millionth fan tonight, needing just 5,784 guests to walk through the gates at Southwest University Park to reach the milestone.
The Chihuahuas have drawn 1,994,216 guests at the ballpark through 249 regular season home games, excluding the four games played in Tucson, Ariz. in 2014. During the 2017 campaign, 302,056 guests have attended Chihuahuas games, averaging 7,745 per game.
“How incredible it is to be three-and-a-half seasons into this amazing ballpark and welcome our 2 millionth fan?” said Chihuahuas Vice President and General Manager Brad Taylor. “This says volumes about the love and acceptance that El Paso and the surrounding communities have given us.”
When the 2 millionth fan enters the gates tonight, the lucky guest is slated to receive the following:
· Family four (4) pack to a future 2017 game
· A pair of general admission tickets to the Way Out West Fest on October 14th
· WestStar Bank Club passes tonight
· Team autographed ball
· First pitch
· An inning with Tim Hagerty on the air
· Chico seat visit
· 2017 Souvenir Gift Bag
The Chihuahuas welcomed their 1 millionth fan – Severo Barreras – on August 1, 2015.

2014 – 548, 937; 67 Games*

2017 – 302, 056; 39 Games

The team faces Sacramento through tonight. The Chihuahuas welcome the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks) in a four-game series beginning on Friday that includes the GECU Independence Day Celebration from July 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The festivities include three days of Fireworks Spectacular!, a jersey auction and all the pageantry that comes with the Independence Day celebration.
Advanced purchase is encouraged and gives fans a savings versus walk-up prices. The Chihuahuas are offering special rates in Zone E, K, L and Standing Room Only for military members past and present with ID on July 2nd and 3rd.
