Las Palmas Medical Center and Del Sol Medical Center recently recognized several physicians as the hospitals’ 2022 Doctors of the Year.
The Doctor of the Year program honors and recognizes physicians for their contributions to quality patient care at Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare hospitals. The physicians are nominated by hospital employees.
Las Palmas Medical Center, recognized two physicians as the hospital’s Doctors of the Year: Dr. Jose S. Saldivar, a gynecologist and oncologist; and Dr. Asad Omar, a pulmonologist.Â
Dr. Jose Saldivar is American Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He completed two medical degrees, one with a specialty in gynecologic oncology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and another with a specialty in general surgery from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
Dr. Asad Omar is American Board Certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. He completed his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, in Orlando, Florida; and his residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in Southfield, Missouri, where he also completed his fellowship.
At Del Sol Medical Center, Dr. Adam Larson, an anesthesiologist, was recognized as the hospital’s Doctor of the Year.
Dr. Adam Larson is American Board Certified in anesthesiology. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and completed a fellowship in anesthesiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine, in Salt Lake City.Â
