Down Syndrome Coalition Hosts 2nd Annual Whole Hog BBQ

The 2nd Annual Whole Hog BBQ funraiser benefitting the Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso (DSCEP) returns Saturday afternoon.

DSCEP officials say, “This event symbolizes our “whole hog” commitment to improving the lives of individuals with special needs in our community.”

The gathering will be at Keepa’s Park in Sunland Park, where attendees will  be treated to barbecue,  country music, and more. Organizers add,  “There will also be something for everyone – even vegetarians…we encourage everyone to wear their cowboy boots and jeans and come ready to eat and dance.”
