5th Annual Foto Frontera Returns to South El Paso in September.

In celebration of Chicano Heritage Month, Centro De Salud Familiar La Fe (La Fe) will again be hosting the Foto Frontera Visual Stills Invitational Photography Exhibition.

The collection features the works of select US-Mexico Border photographers Joe Pat Clayton, Heidi Phillips, Scott Fitzpatrick, Terrel A. Jackson, Carl E. Maier, Aarón Martínez, Arturo Meza, Aarón Montes, and Mel Stone.

Noted El Paso photographers Federico Villalba, Arturo Enríquez, and Vallarie Enríquez curated this exhibit and have several of their own works in this collection, as well.

The opening for the 5th Annual event is scheduled for Thursday, September 6, 2018, where La Fe will host a gathering with the photographers behind the collection of visual art from 6 to 9 p.m.

The opening reception will take place at the La Fe Culture and Technology Center’s (CTC) Galería Aztlan. Admission to this event and the exhibit is free.

Foto Frontera-2018 will remain on exhibit from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting September 6 and running through Oct. 26, 2018 at the La Fe CTC’s Galería Aztlan.

Students, educators, activists, artists, and community members of all ages are strongly encouraged to participate in this exhibit’s opening reception and showing.
