An Evening of Tango- El Paso Pro-Musica’s “Argentine Nights”

El Paso Pro-Musica is presenting  multiple Grammy nominated violinist Philippe Quint and the Quint Quintet in “Argentine Nights, and Evening of Tango Nuevo,” on Thursday, January 28, at 7:00 p.m. at the El Adobe Recording Studio, 5301 El Paso Drive.
The EPPM 100 Special Event will feature a special presentation by the Quintet, recorded Live, and Argentine wines, food, and more. The concert includes works by Astor Piazzola and other Argentine legends of the Tango.
Tickets are $100.00 and benefit the educational program presented by El Paso Pro-Musica. Artistic Director and world renowned cellist Zuill Bailey, along with the other music artists who visit the region, perform in schools, hospitals and senior facilities throughout the year. This week, the Master Class series at UTEP’s Department of Music will continue with a special presentation by Philippe Quint to string students.
The Quint Quintet will also perform in Las Cruces on Friday, January, 29 at the regular season ticket price of $25.00 for Adults, $20.00 for Senior/Military, and $5.00 for all students. The Concert is set for 7:30 p.m. at NMSU’s Atkinson Recital Hall.
