Americas High School softball student-athletes to sign letters of intent for colleges, universities

Americas High School will have three softball student-athletes sign their letters of intent to attend colleges and universities today at 3:15 p.m. (Dec. 15) at the school’s rotunda.

Christalynne Sepulveda, a four-year varsity letterman, will be signing her letter of intent with the University of Texas at El Paso where she plans to study pre-medicine and continue to veterinary school. Her athletic accolades include being a final four finalist for the 2022 UIL 6A Texas Softball State Championships and being named 1st Team All-Academic. Sepulveda has been playing softball for nine years.

Juliet Vigil, a four-year letterman, will sign her letter of intent with Western Texas College, where she plans to study nursing. Her athletic accolades include being a final four finalist for the 2022 UIL 6A Texas Softball State Championships and being named 1st Team All-Academic. Vigil has been playing softball for 13 years.

Analisse Zubia, a four-year letterman, will sign her letter of intent with El Paso Community College, where she plans to study echocardiography. Her athletic accolades include being a final four finalist for the 2022 UIL 6A Texas Softball State Championships and being named 2nd Team All-District. She is a proud member of the AVID program. Zubia has been playing softball since she was 4 years old.
