Animal Services: 123 pets saved during “Rock the Shelter” event

The Animal Services Shelter continues its adoption efforts this week after a successful adoption event this past Saturday that placed 123 animals in great homes. The “Rock the Shelter” adoption event found homes for 109 dogs and 14 cats.

In the first seven months of 2015, Animal Services has saved the lives of more than 5,500 animals by successfully returning them to their owner or through adoption and rescue transfers.
