Animal Services Aims to Save more Lives in Honor of “Just One Day” Campaign
EL PASO, Texas – This Saturday, the El Paso Department of Animal Services will take part in the “Just One Day” campaign by suspending euthanasia and focusing shelter resources on adoptions.
This national campaign asks that shelters nationwide refrain from euthanizing any of its savable animals for just one day on June 11.
Animal Services is not only making this pledge but will host a “No Kill, No Fee” adoption promotion on Saturday, waiving all adoption fees in hopes of saving as many lives as possible. Though fees will be waived, donations are welcomed. Shelter pets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
