Animal Services Announces “Back-to-School Buddy” Adoption Special

The Department of Animal Services is ending the busy summer season with another adoption special aimed at finding forever homes for the more than 400 animals currently at the Animal Services Shelter.

The department is lowering their August adoption fees with an additional “Back-to-School Buddy” adoption special.

This is the second adoption promotion that the department has held this month, but with the summer season ending and school being back in session, Animal Services is pushing to save as many lives as possible with further-reduced rates.

The “Back-to-School Buddy” adoption special will run from August 22 through August 31. Adoption fees have been lowered from $30 to $20 for this special.

Adoption fees will include the animal’s spay/neuter procedure, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip and City license.
