Animal Services Gears Up for Weeklong “Fast & Furriest” $30 Adoption Special

El Paso Animal Services is revving up for a weeklong adoption special that is expected to put our shelter animals in the fast lane to finding a forever home.

“Animal Services is very thankful for the invite we received from the Andress High School Marching Band to take part in their car and bike show,” said Kurt Fenstermacher, Interim Animal Services Director. “Their invitation inspired us to not only be part of their event, but it inspired us to have a weeklong “Fast & Furriest” adoption special that sticks with the same fun car theme.”

The “Fast & Furriest” adoption special will feature $30 adoption fees for all shelter animals beginning Saturday, March 12, through Sunday, March 20. This weeklong adoption special will culminate with offsite adoptions located at the Andress High School Marching Band’s 2nd Annual Car & Bike Show.

The event is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m.on Saturday, March 19 and will take place in the Andress High School parking lot at 5400 Sun Valley Drive. The Animal Services mobile adoption team will be at the car show with dozens of great shelter pets who will be available for the same discounted adoption fee of $30.
