Animal Services “Home for the Pawlidays” Adoptions Starts Friday
On Thursday, officials with the El Paso Animal Services unveiled their “Home for the Pawlidays” adoption event.
Animal Services will be offering free adoptions on all of their shelter pets during this two-week special.
While adoption specials are offered year-round, Animal Services wants to remind the community, especially during the holidays, that adopting a pet is a life-long decision.
The department encourages those interested in adding a new member to the family, to visiting the shelter and adopt a pet together rather than gifting your family member an unexpected pet for the holidays.
The “Home for the Pawlidays” adoption special begins on Friday, December 7, and runs through Sunday, December 23. Shelter pets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Though fees will be waived, donations of blankets and wire crates are always welcomed.
All adoptions will include the animal’s spay/neuter procedure, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip and city license.
