Animal Services Pet of the Week: Elaine

This friendly female pitbull is named “Elaine.” She came into the shelter seven weeks ago and was nearly adopted but her potential pet parent had a change of heart and decided not to adopt a pet at this time.

Elaine is sweet and playful. She does well with both cats and dogs, making her a perfect pet for a family that already has pets.

A special adoption fee of $30 has been set for Elaine, but if she’s adopted this weekend her adoption fee will only be $22 as part of the shelter’s Reduce, Rehome, Relove adoption special.

This price includes Elaine’s microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, spay procedure and license.

If readers are interested in adopting Elaine, they should visit the Animal Services Shelter in person at 5001 Fred Wilson Avenue. Or to find out about her availability readers can call (915) 842-1000.
