Animal Services sets 3 meetings on how to improve operations, increase live releases

The City of El Paso has recently created a management review team to help identify how shelter operations can be improved with the goal of increasing the live release rate of shelter animals.

As part of the review team’s efforts, several community meetings will be held in the coming days that will provide the public an opportunity to give their own ideas and recommendations. All the input received at these meetings will be taken into consideration by the review team when it is time for the group to provide a report to City Manager Tommy Gonzalez.

The public is highly encouraged to attend the meetings listed below. Please take note that each meeting will be located at a different facility to make it convenient for all residents to attend.
