Animal Services Shelter Offers free Rabies Vaccinations in Honor of World Rabies Day

The Department of Animal Services will be offering free rabies vaccinations in honor of World Rabies Day on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The rabies vaccinations will be offered from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Animal Services Shelter located at 5001 Fred Wilson Avenue.

The rabies vaccines will be available on a first come, first served basis; the first 200 animals will be served.

Please bring dogs on a leash and have cats contained. Arrive early to avoid extended wait times. It is anticipated that some residents will begin to form a line prior to the 6 a.m.start tim
