Animal Services, a division of the Environmental Services Department (ESD), is proud to sponsor a low cost microchip, rabies vaccine, and licensing clinic scheduled for this Saturday, November 21, 2015.
The event will be held from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Animal Services’ Socorro Road facility located at 9060 Socorro Road.
The goal of the clinic is to increase licensing by having all municipal pet ownership requirements available at one time. In order to obtain a license, an owner must have the animal microchipped and must also show a current rabies vaccine.
For this event only, Animal Services will offer all three services (microchip, rabies vaccine and license) for only $24. City code requires that all pets be licensed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
The services will be available on a first come, first served basis; the first 150 animals will be served.Exact cash or check only. Please bring dogs on a leash and have cats contained.
Arrive early to avoid extended wait times. It is anticipated that some residents will begin to form a line three hours prior to the 6 a.m. start time.
These services support the City of El Paso’s strategic goal to nurture and promote a healthy, sustainable community. For more information, contact the Animal Services Shelter at (915) 842-1000
