AT&T and Government Technology Magazine’s 2020 Year in Review & Recognition Summit awarded the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso with the Special Districts Program Award 2020 and Technology Innovation Operations award for their program RENTCafe.
“When the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso closed its doors to keep its employees and residents safe from the spread of COVID-19, they quickly adapted to remote programs to continue to operate,” officials shared.
Microsoft Teams, cloud-based ERP systems, new Dell computers, and RENTCafe were just a few of the many methods that HACEP used to operate entirely remotely. RENTCafe was key to resident services.
RENTCafe is a tenant portal that offers assistance in accessing essential documents, tenant and family information, inspections, verifications, and status of requests.
“The Housing Authority of the City of El Paso’s RENTCafe allowed for optimal customer service while keeping its residents healthy and safe,” HACEP officials added.
