‘Back to School Safari Health Fair’ set for Saturday

Officials with El Paso Health announced that they will be hosting a Back to School Safari Health Fair this weekend.

The family event is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 8:00am-12:00pm at their offices located at 1145 Westmoreland Drive.

“Summertime is always an adventure and we are excited to offer some outdoor fun with a safari spin for families in our community,” said Frank Dominguez, President and CEO of El Paso Health.

“The kids are starting back to school a little earlier this August, so this event allows El Paso Health to give our guests a head start preparing for the new academic year with new backpacks and basic kitchen pantry supplies.”

A free backpack will be given to the first 1,000 children in attendance. Children ages 3 to 18 years age will be eligible to receive the backpack.

The first 300 families in attendance will be eligible to receive a free food bag (one per family).

The health fair will focus on health education, screenings for adults, and safety.  Guests will be able to enjoy Safari-themed games, entertainment, jumping balloons, and food trucks.

For more information about this event, please contact Adriana Cadena at 915-298-7198 ext.1127 or acadena@elpasohealth.com.
