Red Hot Battle for 1st: Rhinos take on Bombers Starting Friday

Two of the best teams in the Western States Hockey League are set to battle this weekend.

The El Paso Rhinos will take on the Long Beach Bombers in a highly-anticipated Western States Hockey League three-game home series at the El Paso County Coliseum Events Center (4100 E. Paisano.)

The games are set for 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27-28, and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.

El Paso, 27-5, is just one win behind first place in the Mid-Western Division, while Long Beach, 31-3, leads the Western Division. The Rhinos are looking to forward Alex Johanson, who has been stellar all season, tallying an incredible 70 points and 34 goals.

The Bombers counter with forward Roman Serafimovich and his 57 points and 26 goals.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $7 for Black Section, $10 for Grey Section, $15 for Orange Section, $25 for Glass Section, $30 for Balcony and free for military with ID. They are available at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.
