From healthcare and taxes to passing a clean DREAM Act, Congress will return to the Capitol with a full agenda for the remainder of 2017, and Congressman Beto O’Rourke wants to hear from his constituents.
Via a news release, O’Rourke states, “Hearing from my constituents is crucial to helping me do a better job in Washington, D.C. Hope you can join me tomorrow…”
“I want to hear from you before these important votes. This is also my opportunity to tell you about my work in Washington, D.C. and your chance to ask me questions about the issues that have been on your mind,” O’Rourke adds.
Staff will be on hand to help residents with any problems they may have with a federal agency, including the Social Security Administration, Medicare and Medicaid, and the Veterans Affairs Administration.
O’Rourke also explains the votes he takes and the legislation he’s working on, via his facebook page. This is also a forum for residents to comment on his work and suggest ways that he and his staff can do a better job.
