XANADU Glow-Along Movie Party

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema East El Paso  |  Tuesday, August 10 at 7:30 PM

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo  |  Wednesday, August 11 at 7:30 PM

Get lost in a disco dream of glow sticks and confetti. Drenched in the glitz, gloss, and yes – glow – of the late 1970s, XANADU was MTV before there was MTV. The film’s brilliant colors, early computer animation, and slick editing set the stage for the golden age of music videos.

When you arrive at our special Glow-Along screening, you’ll get glowing accessories that’ll help you you lose yourself in this deeply relatable tale of a disillusioned artist (Michael Beck) who’s persuaded by a former bandleader (the great Gene Kelly in his last big screen musical) and a mysterious beauty (Olivia Newton-John) to open a state-of-the-art roller disco.
