He has had solo shows at the San Francisco Art Institute, Mexico City’s Museo Experimental El Eco, Ohio’s College of Wooster Art Museum and the Gerald and Stanley Rubin Center for the Visual Arts at the University of Texas at El Paso.

The annual meet-the-artist event will be from 3 to 7 p.m. The day will begin with a mixer at 3 p.m. at Ruli’s International Kitchen, 4176 N. Mesa, followed by a 4 p.m.

VIP bus ride to the studio in La Union, N.M. Drinks, food and studio tours will be offered beginning at 5 p.m.

Admission is a $100 donation to the Border Art Residency, and includes the bus ride, drinks, food and a raffle ticket. They are available by calling 915-533-4020 or online at epcf.org/give/donate (in the project name field type BAR52 if riding the bus, BARMeet if not riding the bus).
