The Border Theater and Local Eyes with Green presents: “Let It Kill You.” The production features 7 Short Plays written by local playwrights, directed by local directors and performed by local actors, focusing on the rituals and stages of grief.
The production will also feature dance and music performances.
“‘Identity Crisis’ is a play focused on what it means to lose identity,” said Eric Acosta, one of the writers. His play is a drama about a superhero who didn’t save the girl.
“Let It Kill you follows in the Border Theatre tradition of using the talents of our community to explore the all too often unmined.
A simple conversation led us down the rabbit hole and the result is a beautiful collaboration about the courage it takes to be a compassionate human”, said Austin Savage, Artistic Director of The Border Theatre.
Officials add that there will be food trucks at the performances.
“Let It Kill You.” runs two weekends at the Glasbox (210 Poplar St.)
May 13-15 and May 20-22.
Fridays & Saturdays: Show starts at 8pm
