On Tuesday, Bricktown Tap House & Kitchen announced they will will team up with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items.

“We welcome the opportunity to assist those in need in our local communities,” said Bricktown Brewery President Buck Warfield.

“El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank does a wonderful job of making sure people don’t go hungry during the holidays, and throughout the entire year, for that matter,” Warfield added.

Bricktown Tap House & Kitchen guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items throughout the month of December. Collection bins will be located near the entrance of the restaurant.

The restaurant is located at 8889 Gateway Boulevard West in the Fountains Mall in El Paso.  For more information, visit their website and like them on Facebook.

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger’s ‘Food Bank’ is the distribution center for over 120 partner pantries across the borderland region and collaborative hub for hunger initiatives that assists in SNAP applications and nutrition education.

EPFH Officials say, “We currently serve 90,000 food insecure people with 65,000 of those households including children…food insecurity is defined as being limited at times to having adequate food because of a lack of money and other resources.”
