Local Radio Station, DJs look to Brighten Easter for Kids in Need

With a little over two weeks before Easter, local radio station KSII 93.1 (KISS El Paso) is again calling for the community to participate in their 20th Annual Easter Basket Drive.

The station kicked off their Easter Basket Drive week in front of the KISS studios (4180 N. Mesa) Monday morning, and are looking for pre-assembled, store-bought Easter baskets or cash.

Donations are accepted all day at the studio, or at their announced morning drop off locations.

For those who can’t make it out in morning, donations can now be given online. The station has set up a free online fundraising account that allows you to make a safe and secure donation from wherever you are, whenever it’s convenient.

Every organization KISS-FM has chosen assists abused and neglected children, who would not otherwise know the joy of an Easter basket full of candy and toys on Easter morning without the community’s help.

Baskets go to the Rescue Mission, Child Crisis Center of El Paso, the Salvation Army shelter, Center Against Family Violence, among other local organizations.
