Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo is thrilled to host the launch party for Legal Draft Beer Company, co-founded by El Paso native and Burges High School graduate, Greg McCarthy, who is proud to be bringing Legal Draft beer to his hometown.
The Legal Draft Beer Company launch will take place on Wednesday, April 5th at 7pm in the Glass Half Full Taproom, starting with a meet-and-greet with Greg McCarthy and Master Brewer, Henryk Orlik. A brief introduction of Legal Draft Beer Company and their craft beers will follow at 8pm.
Legal Draft Beers was co-founded in 2015 by good friends and neighbors, Curt Taylor and Greg McCarthy. Production for the Legal Draft Company began in May of 2015 and the introduction of Legal Draft to the public took place on June 30th.
The taproom opened in late July and in light of overwhelming success, the beer was being distributed across the Dallas/Fort Worth market by August. Since then, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio have been added to the list and El Paso is the next step of expansion across the state.
Greg McCarthy, the “Legal” in Legal Draft, grew up in El Paso and graduated from Burges High School in 1979. For 30 years, he has worked as a trial lawyer all across Texas, most recently joining the Patterson Law Group as Senior Counsel in Fort Worth.
Henryk Orlik, the Master Brewer of Legal Draft, earned his Master Brewer title in the Doemens Academy in Munich and is implemented with a degree in Business Economics. Henryk joined the Legal Draft team as Master Brewer, bringing classic German training and more than 40 years of experience to Legal Draft.

The exceptional craft brews featured by Master Brewer, Henryk, will include: Smash & Grab IPA, Presumed Innocent IPA, Hung Jury Hefeweizen, Accused Amber Lager, and Legal Blonde Lager.
Guests will also have a chance to receive glassware, T-shirts, growlers, hats, and other nifty give- away items.
