Amid a historic spike in COVID-19 cases in our community which has pushed regional healthcare resources to the limit, businesses across El Paso are doing their part and further modifying how they operate.
Now, officials with the Better Business Bureau Paso del Norte say they will highlight those businesses as part of its “Buy El Paso” campaign.
“Since March, hundreds of local businesses have put the safety of their customers and employees first and taken the City of El Paso’s Pledge to Safety. Many of those same businesses are now going even further to help protect El Pasoans during the critical two-week period which is ahead of us” said Marybeth Stevens, President of Better Business Bureau Paso del Norte. “We want those businesses to know that our entire community is behind them and that we appreciate the augmented steps they’re taking to keep us all safe.”
Program officials add that one way businesses are doing that is by participating in the BBB’s E-Commerce Technical Assistance Program which has helped dozens of local businesses improve their online offerings as a way to minimize face-to-face contact.
