“Of all the positions I’ve had in my 37 years of experience I feel incredibly blessed to begin a new journey in a place that is filled with our Catholic traditions and excellence”, said Ms. Howard.
“Ms. Howard is definitely the right leader for Cathedral High at this time. She has a clear vision for enhancing our school so that we remain competitive and relevant while rooted in our tradition. As we enter our 93rd year, Ms. Howard will energize our entire community”, said Brother Nick Gonzalez, President of Cathedral High School.

She began her career as a special education teacher at Rusk Elementary in El Paso, TX. She has traveled and taught all over the world and is happy to be home.
Ms. Howard succeeds Ms. Aurora Lujan, who retired in June after serving as a teacher and administrator for thirty years at Cathedral.
