El Paso starter Ryan Weathers pitched six innings and didn’t allow any earned runs. He was followed by San Diego Padres pitcher Robert Suarez, who struck out one in a scoreless seventh inning on MLB injury rehab. San Diego’s Wil Myers played first base and went 2-for-4 with two singles for El Paso on MLB injury rehab.

Chihuahuas shortstop Eguy Rosario went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI single in the win. El Paso’s three hits allowed were one shy of the season low for a single game. Weathers picked off two runners Friday and the Chihuahuas now have 25 pickoffs to lead all of Minor League Baseball.
