Alex Dickerson went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs in the El Paso Chihuahuas’ 10-5 win over the Fresno Grizzlies Saturday night at Chukchansi Park.
The Chihuahuas have won 11 of the last 13 games and hold a four game lead atop the Southern Division standings.
For the fourth straight game, the Chihuahuas were victorious after falling behind. El Paso trailed 3-2 in the sixth inning Saturday when the club rallied for three runs in the sixth and five in the seventh to win comfortably.
Carlos Pimentel pitched five innings and allowed three earned runs to win his third consecutive start.
The Chihuahuas hit three home runs (Dickerson, Nick Noonan, Ryan Schimpf) and now have 62 team homers, the most in Triple-A baseball.
The Chihuahuas have won six consecutive games, tying the club’s previous longest winning streak of the season.
