The El Paso Chihuahuas had a come-from-behind victory for the second straight night Tuesday, defeating the Fresno Grizzlies 7-5.
El Paso trailed at various points 2-0, 4-2 and 5-4 but surpassed Fresno all three times.
Rocky Gale went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a sacrifice fly. Travis Jankowski reached base four times and fell a home run shy of the cycle atop the El Paso order. The Chihuahuas piled up 13 hits Tuesday, their second consecutive game with a double digit hit total.
Jordan Lyles allowed three runs on four hits in 1.1 innings in his Padres organizational debut. Bryan Rodriguez pitched 6.2 relief innings and got the win, one appearance after his nine-inning shutout in Round Rock.
After three consecutive series losses, the Chihuahuas have guaranteed at least a series split in the four games at Fresno.
