City Asking Residents to ‘Chime In’ On 2019 Budget

The City of El Paso is gearing up for the Fiscal Year 2019 budget and is looking for suggestions from City residents on how to improve services.

“As we begin developing the budget for Fiscal Year 2019, we want residents, businesses, and visitors to ‘chime in’ by submitting their suggestions,” said Interim Director of Municipal Finance Robert Cortinas.

Some of last year’s ideas resulted in additional police officers, new police cars, new fire trucks, new Sun Metro Brio routes, new ADA projects, new traffic signal lights, additional water parks and other quality of life projects.

The public can submit suggestions and ideas to by clicking on the “Chime In” banner on the City of El Paso website.
