City, Bissell Pet Foundation provide another free ‘Empty the Shelters’ Event

El Paso Animal Services is partnering with the Bissell Pet Foundation to host a five-day “Empty the Shelters” adoption event beginning Wednesday, August 4 and running through Sunday, August 8.

El Paso Animal Services and the Bissell Pet Foundation have partnered this entire summer to save lives, to include a mega rescue transport operation, and free sponsored adoption events like this one.

“Animal Services wants to remind the community that their involvement is important, especially with 50-100 pets entering the shelter each day,” shelter officials shared. “To support the City’s lifesaving mission, the community can get involved by adopting, fostering, volunteering, and donating, as well as ensuring all owned pets are up to date on their vaccinations, have a microchip and are spayed or neutered.”

All adoptions will include the pet’s spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and City license.
