The City of El Paso is planning a number of activities across the city for children and families to enjoy during the Easter Weekend, including visits from the Easter Bunny and free Easter egg hunts.
A roster of events are planned leading up to Easter weekend from the El Paso Zoo, the Parks and Recreation Department and the El Paso Public Library. There is something for every age to enjoy, from Easter egg hunts to interactive events, swimming and more.
In addition, the City encourages the public to visit city parks during the holiday. Easter weekend is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year to be outdoors with thousands of people using city parks to celebrate. The Parks and Recreation Department asks the public to keep parks clean by picking up their trash.
The Parks and Recreation Department provides trash bins but encourages park visitors to bring their own trash bag(s), and if they bring pets to the park, make sure to clean up after them as well.
The City wants to make sure everyone has a fun-filled holiday weekend. A list of Easter-related events may be found on the “Easter Events” banner on the City of El Paso website www.elpasotexas.gov
