City Hosts Two Monster Mash Events

District 6 City Representative Claudia Rodriguez and District 8 City Representative Cissy Lizarraga are each hosting Monster Mash Costume Give-Away events for community children on Thursday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 19.

Both City Representatives along with Live Active El Paso and the Parks and Recreation Department will host the free events that include family-friendly activities from the El Paso Library, a fun dance routine, and City mascots Lea from the Public Library and Gus and Goldie from Parks and Recreation.

District 6 Monster Mash

Marty Robbins Park, 11600 Vista Del Sol Dr.

District 8 Monster Mash

Parents will receive a free costume for their child on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be present with their parent(s) or guardian to receive a costume, and parents are encouraged to arrive on time due to limited costume supplies.

Together Districts 6 and 8, along with partners at Technimark, ZTEX Construction, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, El Paso Electric, and the Aguilar Family Foundation will be giving away more than 500 costumes for the children of El Paso.

Special thanks goes out to these organizations for donating funds to purchase the costumes. In addition, a portion of the costumes were purchased at Party City who provided a significant discount.
