City invites parents to pre register teenagers for COVID-19 Vaccine
The City of El Paso is inviting parents to begin pre-registering their children, ages 12 to 15, for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at www.EPCovidVaccine.com, in anticipation of the final approval by the CDC Advisory Council on Immunizations Practice (ACIP).
“The ACIP is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, May 12, to review the data and provide an anticipated final approval for vaccines for individuals ages 12 to 15,” city officials said.
“If approved, the vaccine will be available in time for middle and high school students to return to school this fall.”
The City continues to expand vaccine accessibility and scheduled nine (9) additional COVID-19 Vaccine Pop-up Events this month.
The City has also relocated the Northeast vaccination site from the Joey Barraza and Vino Memorial Park to the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at 9566 Railroad.
