City of El Paso hosts Public Health and Safety Job Fair

Officials with the City of El Paso are inviting job seekers to the Public Health and Safety Job Fair set for this coming Saturday, September 18.

“The city has exceptional opportunities for those pursuing a career in the field of Public Health or Public Safety,” said Managing Director and Fire Chief Mario D’Agostino. “We encourage those who are looking for more than a job, but rather a career, to come to the fair and learn about the various opportunities available for them to make a difference in our community.”

The fair, set to run from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 9566 Railroad Dr. will offer a wide range of employment opportunities to include Patient Care Technician, Licensed Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Public Safety Communicator Trainee, Firefighter Trainee, Emergency Medical Technician and Police Trainee.

Organizers say that at the fair, individuals will be able to apply for positions and obtain additional information about openings and employment benefits.

Benefits include competitive pay, paid sick and vacation leave days, tuition reimbursement, health insurance options, wellness programs, and a pension plan.
