City of Socorro secures 4k doses of Moderna COVID- 19 Vaccine

Officials with the City of Socorro announced Wednesday the availability of 4,000 additional Moderna vaccination appointments, held over the next two weeks.

“We are grateful to have secured an allotment of over 4,000 Moderna vaccine doses to rapidly expand services for our community,”  Socorro Mayor Ivy Avalos shared. “Our appointment-only clinics provide a reliable, safe, and dignified process to vaccinate east El Paso County residents”

Officials say these clinics will serve the residents of Socorro and East El Paso County.

Vaccinations are provided by appointment only. No walk-ins will be accepted.

This announcement marks the latest development of the city’s vaccination Micro-Hub, the product of the public-private partnership forged between Code 4 Emergency Services and the City of Socorro.

Appoints for upcoming clinics can be found by visiting the City’s website or by visiting official Socorro social media channels. Residents without access to a smartphone can contact city staff @ 915-858-2915
