The City of El Paso is partnering with the CDC’s Increasing Community Access to Testing program, LTS Emergency Response and community partners to expand the City’s free COVID-19 testing opportunities, particularly in vulnerable communities.
Testing is available for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Individuals with are symptomatic
- Exposed to COVID-19
- High-risk medical condition
- Pregnant women
Testing is available at the following locations and dates:
Beginning on Tuesday, August 9
UTEP Testing Site, 3333 N. Mesa
Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Beginning on Monday, August 15
County Sportspark, 1780 N. Zaragoza
Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Results will be received via email and/or text within 24-48 hours after you get tested.
Insurance is not required, but insurance information will be requested and billed to those who are insured.
The City’s Community Clinics are also providing testing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Residents are required to schedule a COVID-19 testing appointment by visiting EPStrong.org or by calling (915) 212-6843.

Health officials highly recommend residents continue to practice safety precautions such as getting tested and staying home if you are feeling sick, watching your distance, and wearing a face covering regardless of whether you have or have not yet received the vaccine.
