City Rep Svarzbein Invites PayPal: Charlottes’ Loss Can Be El Paso’s Gain

City Representative Peter Svarzbein encourages the general public to reach out to PayPal in order to invite the global online payment services corporation to El Paso.

Recent media reports indicate that PayPal will withdraw intentions to develop a global operations center, with plans to employ 400 additional personnel; with PayPal’s announcement, the firm is seeking an alternative location.

According to Rep. Svarzbein, “This is an excellent opportunity to recruit a global corporation to El Paso. We have a great place to offer, with great things happening to improve our quality of life, and a great workforce prepared to meet the service needs of PayPal.”

The City Council member is asking the public to reach out to PayPal via social media and speak out about our great city, El Paso.

“Tell them about our great history of diversity, tolerance, and how we are ready for their business. Tell them what you love about El Paso…I already sent PayPal a message!” said Rep. Svarzbein.
