City Set to Hold Meetings on Proposed Pet Grooming Ordinance Starting Next Week

The City of El Paso and the Office of City Representative Claudia Ordaz Perez, District 6, will host three public meetings to receive input on the creation of a proposed pet grooming ordinance.

Attendees will be asked to share their ideas and provide feedback on the proposed ordinance changes that would create new accountability standards for individual groomers and animal related businesses.

The community, groomers, and business owners are all encouraged to attend any of the meetings.  If the public has any questions regarding these upcoming meetings, or if they cannot attend and would like to provide input,  they can email the city at [email protected] or they can call (915) 212-0006.

The potential changes aim at enhancing pet health/safety and customer service.
