The Planning and Inspection Department, in conjunction with District 7 City Representative Henry Rivera, is inviting the public to attend a community meeting regarding the city’s Alameda Transit Corridor Plan.
Discussion will include current conditions and research done so far by the urban design team to gather data for the Alameda Corridor.
An interactive online survey system will be available for audience participation, as well as printed surveys for those that prefer paper format.
The Alameda Transit Corridor Plan will lay out a vision for the future improvement of Alameda Avenue and its surrounding neighborhoods.
The focus of the plan will be on improving the safety, connectivity, beauty, and quality of amenities from Central El Paso to the Mission Valley.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Monday, September 17, at Cadwallader Elementary School located at 7988 Alameda Avenue
