Thursday evening, the community is invited to participate in the Sunset Wellness Mixer at Cleveland Square Park.
Attendees will also be able to register and receive a free COVID-19 vaccination at the event without an appointment.
Organizers add that the free, interactive health and wellness mixer includes a variety health, fitness and nutrition organizations focused on improving the well-being of the community.
Highlighting the event will be guest speaker Dr. Isabel Bogdan who will deliver a motivational speech on the importance of remaining healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Born and raised in El Paso, Dr. Bogdan is a women’s health Nurse Practitioner in New York City.
“In addition, some of El Paso’s top inspiring woman will be on hand to meet and mingle with visitor,” City officials shared. “The mixer will also include two free yoga sessions, a relay race and an abundance of health and fitness resources.”
Partners and organizations include Live Active El Paso, the Public Library, El Paso Zoo, YMCA of El Paso, Pasos Para Prevenir Cancer, Empowerment Health and Wellness and 9Round Fitness.
