CoWork Oasis, a local entrepreneurial ecosystem builder, has partnered with the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) and the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI) to ensure emerging business leaders from the Borderplex region have the opportunity to learn how to scale their business, create jobs and build a stronger economy.
The SLEI Scaling Program is taught by Stanford Business School faculty and is an immersive seven-week online program.
Participants are provided with valuable scaling frameworks, a diversified network of capital providers, business mentorship and a deep understanding of mobilizing resources for sustainable business growth.
“SLEI program participants will find resource-rich, supportive, and inspiring connections that will help them scale their business, engage in professional development and develop life-long friendships. Borderplex entrepreneurs cannot afford to miss out on this opportunity,” said Dr. Beto Pallares, Venture Capitalist, and LBAN board.
Latino business owners who generate $1M+ in annual revenue or have raised $500K of external funding can qualify to apply.
Due to the support by generous funders who underwrite the vast majority of the program’s cost, the program cost to participants is only $1,000, plus travel & lodging costs for the on-campus weekend sessions.
The dates of the program are October 12th -December 7th, 2019. Participants are expected to attend the in-person kick-off weekend on October 12th – October 13th, as well as their graduation weekend on December 6th and 7th. Both weekend visits will be at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, California.
Dr. Pallares can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org to help answer questions about the program, connect interested applicants with local alumni or program executives. In addition, Dr. Pallares will hold an information session for interested entrepreneurs. For details, please email beto@coworkoasis.
