El Paso Coyotes vs Turlock
The El Paso Coyotes hope a rare Saturday home date will bring with it a change of luck as they continue to chase their elusive first victory in the Major Arena Soccer League.
The Coyotes will take on Baja Atlético at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the El Paso County Coliseum at 4100 E. Paisano. All general admission tickets will cost $12 and kids get in free with each adult ticket purchased.
The Coyotes, now 0-13 under new head coach Jose Luis Treviño, are eager to score a win for the first time in history. The Coyotes will be leaning on team captain and forward Daniel Frias, who has 10 goals and 16 points, midfielder Omar Ledesma (11 goals, 15 points) and forward David Salas (12 goals, 16 points).
Baja midfielder Christian Gutierrez is having a stellar year with 41 goals and 51 points, which leads the league. Baja, 8-7, is in second and El Paso is in last in the Southwest Division.
