Desert Lynx set to battle Las Vegas on Saturday

El Paso’s own Southwest Desert Lynx will be taking to the hardwood this weekend in a key WBDA matchup ahead of the national tournament.

The Lynx, 17-1 (5-1) will be taking on the Las Vegas Gems at the Del Valle High School gym on Saturday night at 7 p.m.  The team’s only loss came in the MBA World Championship game in Denver back in July.

Club officials add that there are 7 regulation games remaining before the WBDA National Tournament.

Nine players on this seasons roster that have played Division I basketball in college, with 4 players with Professional and overseas experience. Club officials add that a majority of their roster is comprised of El Paso talent.  

Fans that wear a Del Valle Spirit Tee will get $2 off admission; 20% of proceeds will be donated right back to DVHS
