The Downtown Management District (DMD) Board of Directors recently appointed Johnny Escalante as a Board Member, filling an unexpired term.
Johnny Escalante, is a UTEP graduate with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and has served on the DMD Marketing Committee as an At-Large member since 2017. Escalante, is the CO-CEO and Managing Partner of Later, Later, J&K Presents, Lost & Found, One:One, a Downtown co-working space, and the Sales and Marketing Director for Escalante Roofing and Construction.
State law, which governs municipal management districts, allows the DMD Board to appoint individuals to fill unexpired terms.
“The El Paso Downtown Management District is governed by a Board of Directors with a mission to promote economic development by providing services that champion a vibrant Downtown El Paso,” officials shared via a news release.
Escalante’s appointment took place on March 26th.
