Downtown Public Library to host free concert featuring Harry and the Potters

The Public Library will host a free, all-ages concert by the Harry Potter themed rock band Harry and the Potters at the Main Public Library.

Via a news release, library officials shared, “By using the power of Potter, the library staff hopes to inspire everyone to visit the library and spend more time reading.”

Visitors are encouraged to dress as their favorite Harry Potter characters.

Harry and the Potters have been active since 2002 and has released the albums Voldemort Can’t Stop the Rock! in 2004 and Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love in 2006.

The band is currently touring the country in support of their newest album Lumos which is based on the seventh book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling entitled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
